Il y a toujours plus à entendre dans les replis, quand la voix baisse et qu’il faut tendre l’oreille. De la performance à la musique, de la parole au chant, du murmure au cri, qu’est-ce que nos voix racontent ?
L’intention est de créer une soirée autour de la voix et de la dimension orale du texte. Quel est le désir de la voix ?
Chaque artiste est invité.e à habiter l’espace extérieur et les ondes de *Duuu radio le temps d’une soirée.

In the spirit of La Bohème and following the tradition of Kafeneio talks, A Conversation with Athens is an intend to organize a new series of meetings gathering voices of the local art scene in Athens.

The conversations are held in English and host by Florent Frizet & Eric Stephany, two french artists currently living in Athens.

Katerina Tselou studied Literature and Art History at University of Athens, and then moved to Paris for her postgraduate studies on Art Theory at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). She is the curator of the Pavilion of Greece at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019). She was Curatorial Advisor at documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel, as well as Assistant to the Artistic Director Adam Szymczyk (2014–17). She was a co-curator at the 4th Athens Biennale in 2013. From 2009 to 2013 she was the curator of the visual arts program at the National Theatre of Greece, and from 2007 to 2008 she worked as Exhibition Coordinator at Argos Centre for Art and Media in Brussels. She has also organized projects as an independent curator in Greece, collaborating with institutions such as the Athens School of Fine Arts, University of Thessaly Department of Architecture, European Film Festival, and Notos Theatre. Tselou lives and works in Athens.
