Lietuvos Balsai #10 : Kotryna Briedytė, Radio Vilnius & Manfredas
Lietuvos balsai est un cycle radiophonique enregistrée dans les studios et les espaces de travail d’artistes en Lituanie. Chaque semaine, à partir du 19 septembre, un portrait sonore d’un artiste participant à la Saison est diffusé sur *Duuu et Radio Vilnius.
Radio Vilnius est une station de radio indépendante basée à Vilnius. Fondée par Kotryna Briedytė et Manfredas en 2021, elle vise à offrir une plateforme diversifiée dédiée à la musique, à la culture et aux échanges. Radio Vilnius s’inscrit également comme un pôle culturel et artistique, mettant en lumière la création contemporaine lituanienne tout en établissant des liens avec la scène européenne et mondiale. La station est reconnue pour son approche communautaire et son rôle dans la promotion de Vilnius en tant que destination culturelle dynamique.
Le nom Les Voix de la Lituanie (Lietuvos balsai) fait écho à l’émission radio historique La Voix de l’Amérique (Amerikos balsas), qui, durant les décennies d’occupation soviétique, incarnait la voix de l’Occident libre transmise à travers le rideau de fer. Malgré les efforts des autorités soviétiques pour brouiller les émissions, Amerikos balsas restait une source précieuse d’informations pour les Lituaniens, alors privés du droit d’exprimer leur propre voix.
Aujourd’hui, Lietuvos balsai reprend ce symbole, mais dans un tout autre contexte. Ce nom ne fait plus référence à une voix extérieure, mais à une multitude de voix libres qui s’expriment désormais en Lituanie. Ces voix, qui résonnent à travers une grande diversité de personnalités et d’opinions, incluent à la fois ceux qui ont lutté pour la liberté et ceux qui sont nés dans un pays déjà libre.
C’est par la culture et les personnalités culturelles issues de disciplines variées que l’on peut véritablement percevoir la richesse de cette Lituanie diverse et unie dans la création. Les artistes, écrivains, musiciens et autres acteurs culturels lituaniens collaborent régulièrement dans des œuvres collectives et interdisciplinaires, révélant ainsi un pays où la diversité des perspectives se conjugue à une solidarité artistique. Les Voix de la Lituanie incarne donc cette pluralité culturelle, où chaque voix individuelle participe à un dialogue collectif, forgeant une identité culturelle riche et collaborative. Ces entretiens ont été menés avec un intérêt particulier pour les espaces de travail des artistes, leurs outils, leurs habitudes, et tous les sons qui résonnent dans leurs environnements.
